- Your PDF files are not uploaded to our servers
- All processing occurs entirely on your local device
- You retain complete control over your files at all times
Purchase Information
- In-app purchase history is managed by Apple, not stored by PDFUnlock
- Payment details are never collected by us — handled exclusively by Apple's App Store
Support Contact
- If you contact us with support requests, we collect only the information you provide in that message
- This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored permanently
What We Do Not Collect

3. Local Storage & iCloud Sync
Keychain
- Your free-unlock counter is encrypted and stored in your device's Keychain
- Protected by iOS/macOS security and survives app reinstallation on the same device
iCloud Key-Value Store
- If you are signed into iCloud, your free-unlock counter syncs across your devices
- Only the counter is synced — your PDF documents are never uploaded to iCloud
How to Disable iCloud Sync
Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud and toggle off PDFUnlock. The app will fall back to Keychain-only (device-specific) storage.

- Local Processing: All PDF operations occur on your device, not on remote servers

- Keychain Encryption: Your counter is encrypted in your device's Keychain
- No Central Database: We do not maintain centralized servers storing user data
While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is 100% secure.
9. Children's Privacy
PDFUnlock is not directed at children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover we have collected such data, we will delete it immediately. For EU users under 16, parental consent is required.
10. Third-Party Services
